Law firms generally come in three varieties:

Small, or solo firms, where the lawyers apply their skills in response to the demand for their services.

Large, multi-disciplinary firms, where each department of the firm is a concentrated unit specializing in a particular area of practice.

Boutique firms where interest, knowledge or experience has permitted the attorneys to focus their efforts in areas which they know well.

This firm practices in only two areas: Elder Law and Bankruptcy.  While there are many reasons why these areas have come together to become definitions of our service, the result is that we devote ourselves to these areas.

Elder law, the provision of services to senior citizens and their families, gives us the chance to have a positive influence on the lives of people who are in their final stages of life.  Over the years, this market has expanded from a few octogenarians to a large community.  The needs of these clients are driven by health care decisions and financial concerns unprecedented in the history of our legal system.  These seniors, and their families, are presented with demands and challenges for which there is little public information and even less publicly available legal information.  It is our privilege to work with these people.  We work to prevent impoverishment and to protect family values, and preserve legacies.  We always keep our focus on the senior in need of services and, no matter what their condition may require, we respect their wishes in the management of their affairs.  We provide comprehensive services necessary to maintain dignity, instill security, and preserve value.

Bankurptcy is the art of restoring stability to a struggling person or business.  Both personal and business bankruptcies tend to arise from the same two factors:  1, bad luck; 2, bad choices.  Personal Bankruptcy aims at providing the honest debtor with a fresh start.  Business Bankruptcy is aimed at helping businesses to return to productive participation in the economic life of our community.  The banlruptcy code provides these debtors with a powerful ally in adjusting their affairs.  No matter why a person or a business enters insolvency, we have the experience necessary to maximize the outcome whether that outcome involves reorganization or liquidation.  Under Federal Law we are considered a Debt Relief Agency.  We help people file for Bankruptcy Relief.
